With three million website visits a week, MTV Oy is one of the largest TV and media companies in Finland. People expect the latest, greatest and breaking news - all day, every day.

MTV Oy migrated to CoreMedia and moved to the cloud, all while putting out content at a blistering pace. 

Internal news systems are integrated into the workflow. Up-to-the-minute live streams and videos are produced and managed inside CoreMedia. Content is fine-tuned in CoreMedia Content Studio for publication across websites, mobile and apps. Customer data is integrated and used to prioritize news and target ads to relevant customers. 

What looked like a mammoth migration task was seamlessly completed within three months.

Over 100 editors work in MTV Oy's CoreMedia CMS, publishing up-to-date news each day. They bring the news through automated feeds, collated content and content tagging, highlighting and targeting news items for relevance.  

Visitors are on site for longer and keep coming back as tagging and targeting strategies designed in CoreMedia Content Studio increase the relevance of the news feeds people see. 

In the background, cloud hosting gives flexibility and cost efficiency during heavy news days. And the de-coupled front end means site visitors are oblivious to any heavy lifting in the background, with no impact on the seamless customer experience at the front.
