Siteimprove partners with CoreMedia to improve the quality and effectiveness of online publishing
At the heart of this alliance is a new application that gives CoreMedia users instant access to Siteimprove's powerful suite of cloud-based tools and services for website governance.
This application will be available as a plugin for CoreMedia users that inserts a dynamic Siteimprove widget into the user-interface. Web managers will have real time access to visual data from the Siteimprove Intelligence Platform, making it easier for them to improve the effectiveness of their site in key areas such as quality assurance, SEO, web analytics and digital accessibility before any content goes live. The widget will reload automatically whenever the content changes in the content management system (CMS).
"This application provides our customers with instant access to information that will help them identify and resolve urgent issues in areas that are critical to the success of their online business and digital presence. This can be done before content is published and without switching between multiple applications and user interfaces," said Martin Schlüter VP Sales, Central Europe at CoreMedia. "This will provide immediate value to our customers, many of whom are struggling to manage their content in an increasingly complex global environment where users expect deep e-commerce integration and personalized communication across many channels, devices and technical formats."
Siteimprove's Intelligence Platform is currently used by more than 6,000 organizations around the world to manage and improve key aspects of their digital presence. The seamless integration of Siteimprove's core functionality into CoreMedia allows web managers to unlock new insights and gain complete visibility across their content quality, performance, and visitor behavior.
"CoreMedia's clients include major global brands with complex and content intensive sites in retail, the public sector and other industries. By using our integrated platforms, our mutual customers will gain a huge competitive advantage in building and delivering high quality digital experiences to any channel or device," said Morten Ebbesen, CEO of Siteimprove.
One of the shared customers that will benefit from the new plug-in is the City of Hamburg, a long-time CoreMedia and Siteimprove customer. According to Klemens Jäger, Editorial Chief at Hamburg.de, "We are excited to have access to this new integrated tool. As the leading city portal in northern Germany, we have an obligation to provide German citizens with online experiences that are accurate, accessible, relevant and engaging. With analytics and content insights always at hand, our contributors can test, fix, and optimize their work without delay."
