Why Businesses Need Storytelling

On-demand Webcast | Part 1 in the 3-part Coffee Break webinar series on Digital Storytelling for Business

When managers and businesses want to win enthusiasm for their ideas and plans, they must first connect with their audience — customers, colleagues, analysts, journalists — and create a sense of interest and empathy for the concept. Storytelling is an ideal tool for explaining and implementing business strategies

Dr. Veit Etzold leads us to the center in the human brain where stories live. Accordingly, the aim is not to create fairy tales, but rather the challenge lies in taking good facts and communicating them with a story that is just as good. Facts without a story are simply blocked by the “bouncer at the door of the brain” as irrelevant and boring.
