Jochen Toppe Appointed CoreMedia Vice President of Product Management
15-Year Web Content Management Veteran Will Drive Product Strategy and Key Partnerships
HAMBURG and SAN FRANCISCO, May 21, 2013 — Today CoreMedia, a leading Web content management (WCM) company, announced the appointment of Jochen Toppe as vice president of product management. In this role, Toppe will strategically guide the development of the company’s key offerings as well as foster strategic corporate partnerships. Toppe will join the company at its global headquarters in Hamburg, Germany and will report directly to CoreMedia CEO Gerrit Kolb.
Toppe joins CoreMedia from Razorfish, one of the world’s largest interactive agencies, where he helped develop Fluent™, a SaaS platform providing global enterprise marketing clients a turnkey solution to target, distribute and manage multi-channel digital campaigns and experiences. Toppe is a CoreMedia veteran, returning to the team after an eight year hiatus, having worked with the company’s professional services team where he spearheaded implementations of numerous large-scale projects, including some of the largest traffic portals still running on CoreMedia today such as T-Online. Prior to that, Toppe worked as an enterprise software architect at NBC Universal, and at POET and DG HYP in a variety of software development roles. Toppe earned a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Alabama, Huntsville.
