Razor TV: Local TV by users, for users
The innovative Web TV program "The Straits Times Razor TV" presents a 6-hour live broadcast every day. Program elements include interactive video news, chats, radio streams and lifestyle spots. This is the first time that Singaporean online users have been able to interact with a program in real time, via questions, ratings or comments. Users can also upload their own video and photo material online. With its strong local flavor and its informal style – the studio set is laid out like a living room – the program is marketed as a powerful advertising medium for local business.
