Intramo - open source portal solution with CoreMedia integration
Employee portals are the logical further development of Intranets as in-house information sources. They improve internal communication, reduce search times, provide a central element of organizational knowledge management, and improve the information status of all employees, in turn improving the quality and efficiency of enterprise activities and decisions. In addition, the integration of applications and services into a single user interface considerably reduces transaction and process costs. - Mapping of editing workflows (including To-Do lists for individual editors in the portal).
- Presentation of CoreMedia content direct via the portal, integrated with content from other data sources (e.g. LDAP, ADS, SQL databases).
- Single sign-on between portal and CoreMedia thanks to joint use of the application server and directly service.
Other features:- Intramo is a modular software solution for the individual creation of personalized employee and enterprise portals. The system is based on Cocoon, an open source XML framework, and other open standards.
- Intramo offers numerous “out of the box” functionalities for the fast and cost-efficient creation of a typical employee portal. At the same time, with Cocoon it possesses a powerful framework for the development of individual web applications plus numerous interfaces for integrating other applications (including JSR 168, XML-based).
- Among the currently available modules and “out of the box” functionalities of Intramo are personalization, forums, surveys, resource
administration, knowledge management, etc. – it is extremely easy to adapt Intramo to different organizational structures (among other things, dynamic organizational chart, electronic schedule of responsibilities). - For government users, the reference application BVA OfficeNet provides a specific solution with integration of the German Federal Administration’s “Government Site Builder” and SAGA 2.0. conformity.
