Economic success combined with sustainable innovation management practices make CoreMedia overall winner in medium-sized enterprise section

The Hamburg-based software company CoreMedia (www.coremedia.com) has won this year's "Best Innovator" competition, taking first place the medium-sized enterprise section. Patron of the competition is the German Federal Minister for Labor and the Economy.

The jury of high-profile leaders from business and industry stated the following regarding this year's competition: CoreMedia, winner of the "Best Innovator" competition, impressed us especially with its sustainable innovation success over recent years. In contrast to other comparable medium-sized businesses, CoreMedia can boast a particularly innovation-friendly corporate culture; yet innovations are firmly based on clear processes for idea evaluation, and the usage of concrete decision-making criteria.

The annual competition is run by A.T. Kearney and the leading German national business magazine, Wirtschaftswoche. The "Best Innovator" award is presented to businesses and management teams who show sustainable, effective management of innovation. Six hundred German businesses took part in this year's competition.

"Exploring and developing innovations, together with our clients and partners: that's always been one of the guiding principals of our company," said Sören Stamer, founder and CEO of CoreMedia. "Sustainable innovation is the result of an open corporate culture that encourages learning and the courage to find new solutions."

The patron of this year's "Best Innovator" competition is Wolfgang Clement, Germany's Federal Minister for Labor and the Economy. The expert jury comprises Professor Dr. Hans-Jörg Bullinger, President of the Fraunhofer Society, Professor Dr. Hans-Olaf Henkel, President of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz science association, and Hans W.
