| Chairman of the Supervisory Board & Founder Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Joachim Schmidt has played a decisive role in shaping the building of information technology in research and teaching in Germany. At universities in Hamburg and Frankfurt he participated prominently in founding the information science disciplines and institutes. Today he brings his considerable experience in the specialty software systems to the engineering curriculum at the well-known Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg.
