Central content management and multi-channel delivery infrastructure for Europe's largest portal
The customer: T-OnlineSeveral hundred million page impressions per month, made by over 10 million customers, are managed highly efficiently and reliably with CoreMedia CMS. Additionally, the company offers services for video-on-demand, interactive TV, paid content, mobile, and ASP. The website with the most visitors in Germany (www.t-online.de) offers up-to-date, highly personalized content and several value-added services. Most of the information is available for free, but the company offers more and more premium content. Speeding up time to marketThe seven-month long standardization project gave T-Online the flexibility which the company requires for its business. The redesign of www.t-online.de demonstrates how quickly comprehensive portals can be altered based on CoreMedia CMS: the project was implemented in just three months, and without taking the website offline. Both the page layout and the content arrangement were remodeled fundamentally. Today, the e-commerce and the service area are positioned much more prominently on the starting page than in the past. In addition, much of the content and service offering can now also be accessed from mobile phones and PDAs.
