CoreMedia has been awarded with the prestigious “The Siemens Business Innovation of the Year Award 2007” on January 31st 2007 in Brussels. With its innovative technology and culture, CoreMedia has successfully competed against international nominees such as Airbus S.A.S., DaimlerChrysler AG and HP. Representatives of 60 companies from 13 countries of the European Union have attended the exclusive European Business Awards Seminar and Awards Luncheon in Brussels. CoreMedia has also been awarded with the ‘Highly Commended’ status in the category “The Grey EMEA Growth Strategy of the Year Award”, acknowledging CoreMedia’s steady path of organic and profitable growth with long-term business success. Once again CoreMedia has proven to be an example for an organization’s ability to create, grow and develop innovations that make a substantial impact.

CoreMedia has won top ranking in the "Usability" category of the BNP Consulting CMS Benchmark Analysis 2006/2007. After extensive testing, CoreMedia CMS was awarded first place from a field of 38 CMS systems from around the world. Since 2001, the Danish IT and management consultancy, BNP Consulting Limited, has carried out an annual comprehensive benchmark analysis of all leading CMS systems. This year's field comprised proprietary CMS solutions from 10 Danish companies and 20 international companies plus eight open-source content management systems. CoreMedia CMS convinces its users with its easy-to-use and well thought-out design. BNP Consulting Limited is an independent Danish IT and management consultancy. BNP provides impartial advice on the selection of content management systems and enterprise portals, based on the actual requirements of the client company.

CoreMedia, the leader in content management, won the Innovation Area Award in the "Fastest Market Entry" category. The Innovation Area Award was established in 2002 by Ernst & Young and IT-Adventure AG, and recognizes visionary IT ideas. The award is intended to encourage growth-oriented IT companies and innovative technologies. "We're very excited about this recognition of our innovative performance and our business success," said Sören Stamer, founder and CEO of CoreMedia AG. "The boundaries between different industries are dissolving, and new business models are successfully exploiting new opportunities. CoreMedia has been selected with the Red Herring 100 Europe Award 2005 as one of the 100 most innovative technology companies in Europe and Israel. Thus, CoreMedia is one of the 100 companies that embody innovation, technology, and strategy. The Red Herring editorial team rigorously evaluated over 800 companies submitted for the following characteristics: Technology, Financing, Marketing, Sales, Service, Leadership, and Business Strategy. It is the first time that Red Herring magazine has compiled a list focused exclusively on the most promising start-ups in Europe. Red Herring's lists of top private companies are an important part of the magazine's tradition of identifying new and innovative technology companies and entrepreneurs. Companies like Google and eBay were spotted in their early day by Red Herring editors as those that would change the way we live and work.

For its ability to successfully integrate new products into its portfolio and therefore extend its product line to offer a more complete suite of content management solutions, CoreMedia AG has been selected to receive the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Product Line Strategy Award for the European Mobile Video and DVB-H TV markets. “The company is lauded for effectively expanding its product line with CoreMedia Digital Rights Management (DRM),” notes Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst Pranab Mookken. “In doing so, CoreMedia has further strengthened its product portfolio of content management solutions, providing enhanced and flexible options for the market.”

After being named as the fastest growing software company in Germany CoreMedia announced that they have won a place in the Top 25 Software Companies, as the fastest-growing provider of Content Management Systems on the 2004 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA. The list presents a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 1999 to 2003. "Growing the top line enough to make the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is especially meaningful during tough economic times for the technology sector," said Karel Bakkes, partner in charge of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 EMEA program. "We congratulate CoreMedia on becoming one of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in EMEA”. “Being within the fastest technology companies in the EMEA region is a great honor for us and it proves our strong dedication to our strategy: growth through innovation”, states Sören Stamer, Co-Founder and CEO of CoreMedia. “With our content technology we serve customers worldwide and help them to be the fastest in their business.”

After winning the “Best Innovator” award and being named as a finalist for the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award, CoreMedia has now been recognized as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Germany, winning a place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. Alongside telecommunication and commerce companies, CoreMedia is one of the top ten fastest-growing companies in the technology industry in Germany. With its proven combination of economic success and consistent innovation, CoreMedia achieved a cumulative growth rate of more than 1,400% over the last five fiscal years (1999 – 2003). By winning seventh place in the overall “Fast 50”, CoreMedia establishes itself as one of the most successful software companies in Germany and qualifies to enter the Europe-wide “Fast 500” competition.

In June 2004, the management consultancy A.T. Kearney and business magazine Wirtschaftswoche awarded CoreMedia the "Best Innovator" prize. The prize was awarded due to our unique innovation structure that is embedded effectively in our organisation where it plays a major role right up to the managerial level. We were chosen from more than 600 entries as we have been able to join together innovation with economic success for our customers and partners. We are extremely honored to be recognized by leading business experts for our innovation strategy. Members of the jury included: Prof. Dr. Hans-Jörg Bullinger, President of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Prof. Dr. Hans-Olaf Henkel, President of Wissenschaftsgemeinschaft Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and Hans W. Reich, Spokensman for reconstruction of the executive board for KfW. The prize demonstrates that, even in times of economic downturn, Germany can still develop pioneering innovations.

Europe's best place to work 2003 - Award
In 2003, the European Commission selected CoreMedia as one of the Top 100 "Best Places to Work" in Europe (in Germany: Top 15). All 100 workplaces were recognized for their effort to create a high-quality working environment. The workplaces were honoured for their high-quality working environments, as determined by a survey process analysing both corporate policies and employee judgements on their own organizations. The honored organizations have been selected from among the more than 1,000 participating organizations with a total of some 210,000 employees in all European member states.

Internet World 2001 Awards
In May 2001, the independent expert jury of the Best of Internet World 2001 Awards awarded us the "most important product" prize from 120 entries. The jury was impressed with the high-performance CoreMedia software: the media-neutral data management, the integration options of numerous end devices from PC to mobile phone, and the ability of the software to create, manage, distribute and control digital content in all forms within one application. The award acknowledges the high-performance software that enables the production of numerous current and future media-formats via mobile services, personalization, interactive TV and content syndication.

eBusiness Germany Awards 2001
From more than 150 entries, the expert jury of the eBusiness Germany Awards 2001 named our software the "Best eBusiness Product" in June 2001. The exceptional level of quality with which our product (then known as "Publisher") maps the infrastructures of prominent web portals along with its high levels of performance and reliability were the decisive factors. In addition, the jury praised our efforts to integrate the results of our research on XML technology into the product development: "CoreMedia was developed in a very competitive environment and has succeeded. The Publisher has many distinguished customers and its operation is exceptional. Furthermore, jury members were impressed by CoreMedia's efforts in the further development of XML".

Funding from the Hamburg Innovation Fund 1998
In 1998, two years after the company was founded, we were awarded an official grant for DM 200,000 from the Hamburg Innovation Fund. The grant enabled us to develop the technology platform on which CoreMedia CMS is now based. We were the first company to pay back the grant in full to the Hamburg Innovation Fund at the end of 2002.
