RRD and CoreMedia launch Simulcrypt Headend

Las Vegas, April 19, 2007 – World premiere at NAB2007: RRD and CoreMedia are the first to show all existing security profiles based on open standards working in an end-to-end system for Mobile TV. Premiering at the NAB, RRD integrates, in addition to traditional proprietary CA technologies, all open standard systems including 18 Crypt, OMA BCAST Smartcard Profile and OMA BCAST DRM Profile provided by CoreMedia. Having all CA technologies available simultaneously ensures broadest device support.
