The CoreMedia CMS Workflow Editor supports and manages content production processes. A workflow comprises a number of different tasks. Each task can be completed by editors (user tasks) or automatically (system tasks). The tasks are done either sequentially or parallel.
The structure of each process is managed by the editors. Authorization can be given on both the process and the task level. In light of the authorization rights, CoreMedia CMS defines user is permitted to fulfill, delegate or refuse a task. Multiple escalation procedures can be integrated into each work flow.
The CoreMedia Workflow Server offers a number of standardized and pre-defined workflows. In addition the CoreMedia Workflow Server provides freely definable workflows which can be adjusted and shaped according to a wide range of clients requirements. The definition and adjustments are executed using the graphic CoreMedia Workflow Modeler.
