Hamburg/Munich, October 26, 2006 – CoreMedia, the global provider of software solutions for convergent content business, has won a place on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranking – for the third year running. The Hamburg, Germany-based company is one of the 50 fastest-growing businesses in the technology sector in Germany.

Thanks to its disciplined focus on the growth areas of telecommunication and media, and its market-relevant innovations, CoreMedia was able to achieve a cumulative revenue growth rate of more than 375,05 % over the last five fiscal years (2001 – 2005).

Being part of the Technology Fast 50 cements CoreMedia's position as one of the most successful and innovative software companies in Europe.

The award ceremony was held yesterday evening in Munich, Germany.

Businesses from a range of industry segments took part in the competition: from communications/networking, Internet, semiconductor/equipment, computers/peripherals and life sciences, to software and new technologies. To qualify for entry to the Deloitte Fast 50 program, a company must be based in Germany, have been in business for a minimum of five years, with 2001 operating revenues of at least €50,000 and 2006 revenues of €1,000,000 or more. Technology Fast 50 worldwide

The Technology Fast 50 Awards were launched by Deloitte in 1995. The program rapidly expanded worldwide, evoking strong interest and a growing number of participants each year. This year's Technology Fast 50 Germany marks the fourth time the competition has run in this country. New this year: the Rising Stars ranking and the Sustained Excellence Award.

Since 1997, Deloitte has also organized the regional Technology Fast 500 program, parallel to the national Technology Fast 50 competition. The aim of these regional Technology Fast 500 competitions is to award the 500 fastest-growing companies in each region: North America, Europe and Asia / Pacific. In the USA and in other countries, a place in the Technology Fast 50 or Fast 500 is now a recognized seal of quality and competitiveness for successful businesses.

Through the integration of the German Technology Fast 50 in the European Technology Fast 500, the German winners have the chance to gain recognition in the ranks of the most successful technology companies in Europe.
